A fresh batch of 7993 pilgrims on Sunday left for the ShriAmarnath Cave Shrine in South of Himalayas amid “Bam Bam Bhole” chants andrains from Yatri Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar base camp, here.
The fleet of 310 vehicles ferrying pilgrims was escorted byCRPF personnel in jeeps and on motorbikes.
The Yatra was suspended on Saturday from Jammu in view ofrestrictions laid in the valley due to Martyrs’ Day.
